I thought it would be a good idea to pick my favorite recent photos and try to tell you the story behind them.

These are some extracts of another cool day spent with the - oh so artsy - Mag. We like to share whole days together and try to have as much fun as possible without spending too much. We usually succeed. From hanging at her cute new home in the 9th to walking by the canal, discovering cute shops, an origami workshop and impromptu street art/vandalism expeditions, let’s just say we pretty much rock.

I think the boyfriend’s love for the bicycling has finally grown on me. I’m always a bit reluctant to the idea of moving my lazy self out of the bed on weekends… then we end up having such a great time in the woods, far from all the busy streets, rush and computer screens we deal with during the week. God we’re such nerds when we’re together. Just thinking about it makes me smile <3

Oooh we also had an awesome time at the Grazie cocktail/pizza spot right accross the Merci store. Nice decor, friendly service and chilled crowd. I ordered a girly “La vie en rose” made with gin, lemon and red fruits. So good. Of course we had to try out their pizzas, I think we ate them within 10 minutes top, they were so fresh and so tasty. Prices are nice as well, will definitely go back!

Despite my social awkwardness, meeting new people is something I particularly enjoy. I met Coco through Aki. She is a creative make-up artist and jewerly making enthusiast. She needed a face for her portfolio so I let her play with my round face and straight hair for a day. I ended up with curls and strong make-up. Bam. The most difficult part for me was posing for the photographer… I am the worse model ever. But it was nice getting to know her better, she has a nice outgoing personality.

I had dinner with who I like to call my parents, my lovely sister Caro and her hubby. We get along well, us 3. They’re always there for me if I need them, and I know I can call my sister anytime to share the most uninteresting stories. For some reason we talk about politics a lot. We tried an Indian restaurant my mom always tells us about. It was delicious. Though I should make an effort next time and have something else than my all time favorite vindaloo lamb.

Last but not least, I sketched. I still fail at finishing an entire art piece though. I’m not a huge fan of the colouring part. But I really like these 2 :)
